Ghamdan Al-Areeky
My Journey in the Charity Sector
With over 14 years in the UK charitable sector, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside passionate individuals dedicated to making a difference. From local organisations to national or international charities, I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges and successes that come with driving social impact.
The constant hurdles faced by many small and medium-sized charities, such as operational inefficiencies, strategic misalignment, and limited resources, ignited a desire in me to create significant change. This led to the founding of Evolve Catalyst, a consultancy that empowers charities to build strong foundations and achieve sustainable growth.
Recognising the need for a unified voice within the sector, I founded Nonprofit Voice, a platform dedicated to amplifying the collective voice of charities across the UK. Through this platform, we strive to encourage collaboration, share insights, and advocate for policies that support the nonprofit sector.
In addition, my personal health journey inspired the creation of Wellness Impact, a programme focused on providing holistic support for individuals managing type 2 diabetes. Through coaching and community engagement, we aim to empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being.
These ventures reflect my commitment to creating positive change, both within the charity sector and in the lives of individuals pursuing better health and wellbeing.
